- Do I need wifi to make TwitterPeek work?
- Answer: Nope! TwitterPeek works on cell phone towers, so no internet connection is necessary. Coverage is nationwide in the US.
- How do I view Twitpics?
- Answer: When viewing a tweet that has a twitpic.com URL in it, click in the scroll wheel and select "View content" - voila! Your picture will appear.
- Can I browse the web on TwitterPeek?
- Answer: No. TwitterPeek doesn't have a web browser, but we do plan to add support for previewing links in the near future. Stay tuned!
- How long does TwitterPeek's battery last?
- Answer: With average usage, your TwitterPeek should go 3-4 days without having to be recharged. A power adapter is included with your TwitterPeek. You can buy extra batteries and car chargers at our online boutique.
- Uh oh! My TwitterPeek isn't working, what do I do?
- Answer: First, check to make sure you have service. There should be four green bars at the top left of your screen showing service. If you don't see bars, this means your TwitterPeek isn't connecting to our server. Try turning your TwitterPeek "off" then "on" again and wait a couple of minutes. If that doesn't work, email care@getpeek.com or call 877-677-PEEK (7335).
- Can I email and text message with TwitterPeek?
- Answer: No, but you can buy a Peek Pronto mobile messaging gadget that does email and text messaging for just $15 per month. Check out www.getpeek.com, if you're interested in learning more.
- How many Twitter accounts can I have on my TwitterPeek?
- Answer: TwitterPeek allows you to register 1 Twitter account.
- Can I change the Twitter account connected to my TwitterPeek?
- Answer: Sure. Just go to "Settings" in the menu. Select "Device Info" then "Reset Device." Note: All of your tweets and followers will be erased! Once reset, you'll go through the registration process -- type in your new Twitter account name and password. That's it, you're all set!
- Why are my tweets showing up on my TwitterPeek?
- Answer: TwitterPeek keeps track of your entire Tweetsphere, including your own tweets! You can also see just one friend's tweets by selecting "View user feed" from the menu.
- How do I see who I am following and who is following me?
- Answer: Click in the scroll wheel and select "Followers" or "Following" from the menu.
- How do I download my following/followers list onto TwitterPeek?
- Answer: Your TwitterPeek automatically downloads tweets, plus a list of the people you are following upon set up. If you follow more people later, just go to "Following" in the menu and select "Update Following." Same can be done to update your "Followers" list.
- Can I follow and unfollow people using my TwitterPeek?
- Answer: You can follow someone by opening a new tweet and typing in the letter "f" plus the username. There's no way to unfollow someone on your TwitterPeek, so you have to do that from a computer.
